5 reasons to study at “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educomplex

It’s been 3 months already. I’ve been studying in this educational complex for 3 months, and I can already name plenty of reasons why I’ve chosen this school, and what advantages it has over others.

The most common reason you can be told about this school is that you can choose your individual way of studying. Here you are given the freedom to choose your own way and go further in that. They don’t insist on you doing all the subjects or being good at all of them. For me, It’s fair enough, especially in high school, where you have already been given the basic knowledge and can continue your education in the way you want.

I’ll also recommend this school because of its variety of language choices and branches of art. Here we have different kinds of art subjects such as jewelry making, drawing, painting, sculpture, winemaking, and many others. You have a big choice in languages as well. Apart from English and Russian, you can choose to learn French, Italian, Spanish, Persian, Arabic and etc. It’s important to mention that all of these subjects are taught by professionals and experienced people.

Apart from those art subjects and languages, the school has its separate clubs in which the students can be involved and get extra marks on their work in that groups. There are bands, a drama club,  a cooking club, a Chinese club, a psychologist’s club, and many different groups. They all perform great during the school year, and each has its own way to fill school life with joy and interest.

It is true that you can start your career at this school. The school has all the required things for doing that. We have radio programs for future journalists, we have IT learning and robot-making groups, and studios for music-making or song-producing. The school also gives chance to future photographers to start their job from high school. And for every work and job done for school, students are awarded medals, certificates, and even with a big amount of money. So, besides having the opportunity to specialize in your profession, you also get awarded.

And last but not least our school is now starting a new program called the credit system which is newly conceived by the Ministry of Education, and which will pilot in all the Armenian schools in 2024. We are lucky that we are having that system in our school beforehand, so we won’t be confused next year and will be prepared for the new system.

Those were five reasons that I find important and attractive for the students deciding which school to go to for studying. But there are many other reasons which you’ll soon find out if you choose this educational complex. So, let’s appreciate our school, the one that not only gives us education but also prepares good professionals for the future of our country.
